No Comparing

According to scripture, Jesus leveled the field. The ground is said to be level at the foot of the cross. There are no < signs in the Bible. Many scriptures do not favor those who think they are better than others.

It Is Written

GALATIANS 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

The Greatest

Scripture goes on to proclaim a message completely different from the one we hear in the world. One of the last acts of Jesus was to wash the feet of His disciples. In Matthew 23:11, Jesus, the King of all Kings, said, "But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant." He demonstrated those words in one of His final acts by washing the feet of His 12 disciples.

Prayer

Lord, help me to have the right view of myself and others. Help me never to look down on anyone You created and help me to have a truthful view of myself. We are all sinners in need of salvation.
